BODY SWEATS is an homage to Baroness Elsa von Freytag-Loringhoven (1874-1927), a poet and avant-garde artist, a pioneer of the Dada movement. The title is taken from her eponymous collection of poems, an erotic and proto-punk manifesto. Dance, lecture performance, poetry reading, workout: sweat will be a way to explore the intertwining of effort and pleasure, the binding force of a heterogeneous collage of dance and textual materials.
